Pre-Columbian Style Terracotta Figural Sculpture – Two Seated Figures, Folk Art Pottery

A character-filled Pre-Columbian style terracotta sculpture depicting two seated figures joined together in an intimate figural composition.

The piece is formed from low-fired earthenware pottery with a reddish-orange surface treatment and intentionally weathered appearance. Incised facial details, textured surfaces, and small openings in the figures give it the look of an archaeological-inspired decorative object.

The sculpture has wonderful visual interest from every angle and works beautifully styled on a bookshelf, console, desk, or among a collection of global and folk art objects.
