Style

A striking late 19th to early 20th century European majolica jardinière featuring richly detailed high-relief grapes, foliage, and sculpted Bacchus masks—the Roman god of wine—wrapped around the vessel.

The glaze carries that unmistakable depth only time creates, with layered greens, ochres, and deep browns that shift beautifully in the light. Paired with a coordinating pedestal, this piece brings height, presence, and a sense of old-world grandeur to any space.

Equally impactful styled with greenery, left empty as a sculptural statement, or separated and used individually.

The pedestal features classic Art Noveau styling with flowing organic lines and nature-inspired form. The raised etailing and gradient glaze (greens, amber, and brown tones) mirror the movement seen in the jardiniere above, creating a cohesive look.

It adds height and structure, making the piece feel more intentional in a space - not just decorative, but styled.

A true conversation piece with history you can feel.
