This Striking Formato Gabinetto portrait, originating from Italy in the early 1900s, captures a poised woman in a high-neck lace blouse and long skirt. The photograph has bee n\delicately hand-finished and mounted on its original backing card marked Formato Gabinetto, the Italian version of the cabinet card popular in Europe around the turn of the century.
